About Passion for Publishing

I’m Tracey Cowell and Passion for Publishing is run from a work base at home in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

I have been in publishing for over eight years, working my way up in the industry from a publishing assistant to publishing manager, and running my editing business for over six years. My personal experiences have given me an insight into all stages of the publishing process, and the time pressures that can be faced by individuals and companies working in this field.

I have a BA (Hons) in Literature and History (2:1), and was awarded a mark of 95% (distinction) in a book production course from the London College of Printing. I am an associate of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, and keep up to date with ongoing changes and developments in publishing via online forums and local networking events.
